Qorvo's TGA4871 is four transimpedance amplifiers, each with a single-ended input and a differential output, designed for 100GBASE-LR4/ER4 per IEEE802.3b. The low input referred noise density of 15 pA/ square root Hz combined with the differential transimpedance gain of 6 k-ohms leads to an excellent receiver sensitivity. The amplifiers can handle large input signals of up to 2 mApp. Each TIA in the TGA4871 includes an automatic threshold adjust to cancel DC offsets. This results in output signals with distortion free eye diagrams. An external current source or potentiometer can be used to further optimize the threshold. The differential output voltage of 990 mVpp provides a good match to the next part of the receive chain. The TGA4871 is powered by a single +3.3 V power supply
