TriQuint strives to hire the best and brightest people in the industry to move our company forward. Our employees shine not only in their work for TriQuint but in the passion they bring to family, their communities and interests outside of work.
Meet a few of our talented employees — those who role model TriQuint's innovative spirit and focus on excellence.
Emmanuelle is one of TriQuint's BAW Design Engineering Managers. She has held positions from design engineer to design engineering manager across a variety of different product lines. And through it all, Emmanuelle has maintained her two passions: making connections and improving processes.
Emmanuelle is a master at connecting the right people so they can share knowledge and spark innovative new ideas. Moving between different product lines afforded Emmanuelle the opportunity to share knowledge and connect resources, but also to see opportunities to create standardized processes so engineers have more time and energy to design next-generation ideas and products.
In her personal life, Emmanuelle makes connections between friends and co-workers alike by sharing her hobbies. In addition to working full-time and being a mother of two, she is an accomplished pianist, sophisticated seamstress and brilliant baker. She regularly brings her talents to the greater community by quilting for others, playing piano in community concerts and baking tasty treats for colleagues.
Tuan is one of TriQuint's Product Marketing Managers for the base station market. His specialty is delivering for the customer, whether an external customer or an internal colleague. With responsibility for 150 products at any one time, many colleagues point to Tuan as one of the most efficient and effective marketing managers they have ever worked with. Tuan is motivated to get TriQuint's products to market, so he's willing to be involved in all aspects of product development. "We've built good relationships with customers over the years by working together to solve RF problems. I take a partnership attitude with our customers."
Outside of work, Tuan loves to travel with his family and look for opportunities to explore new places both in the United States and abroad.
Elisabeth's title is Advanced Sourcing Supplier Quality Engineer, but what she's really known for at TriQuint is her work with epitaxy, which is the crystal growth of the materials that make up the gallium arsenide devices we sell. Her technical aptitude with all things related to epitaxy, including the ability to repair the machines used in the crystal growth process, has made her TriQuint's epitaxy expert. Elisabeth combined her expertise with a willingness to communicate and manage vendors, making her the ideal liaison with epitaxy suppliers.
When she's not "playing with atoms" at work, Elisabeth pursues many different passions. She's a talented artist who paints pet-portraits through her art company, lives on a farm with a menagerie of animals and is an avid runner and cyclist.
Chris is a design engineer for network infrastructure millimeter wave products. What stands out about Chris is the way he balances his deep desire to solve technical problems with proactively understanding and assisting all different aspects of a program. As a design engineer, his primary responsibility is delivering the technical solutions, but he believes if he doesn't understand all aspects of a program — customers, marketing, quality, production — he can't make the product the best it can be.
He loves the broad view and access to the entire product development process here at TriQuint. "It's cool that you see start-to-finish here. If you're just a design house, you don't get all this inside information, and more importantly, you wouldn't get to influence it. Because to move the technology forward, it's not just the design — you've got to have the process to match it and you can do that here."
In his personal life, Chris is an avid music fan who attends as many live musical performances as he and his wife can fit in. He and his wife also love to take vacations that combine local sightseeing with outside activities like biking and hiking.
